Why did God Create Human?

  • Purpose of Creation

    • Humans were created to have dominion over Earth, reflecting God's authority and likeness (Genesis 1:26-28).

    • Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." This shows God’s creation of Earth as part of His purposeful plan.

    • Humanity was intended to rule on Earth, restoring it under God’s dominion (Genesis 1:26).

  • Sequence of Events:

    • Isaiah 14:12-15 and Ezekiel 28:12-17- 17 describe the devil's pride and rebellion, resulting in his being cast down to Earth.

    • Genesis 1:2: "The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep." Earth became void and purposeless due to the devil’s presence(). 1 John 1:5 says, "God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all.”(so when God created the earth, where did the darkness come from?)

    • Before humanity’s creation, the devil had already been cast to Earth, bringing darkness. God then created humans in His own likeness to restore Earth to His dominion and bring light to a darkened world.

  • Role of Humanity:

    • The primary purpose is to establish dominion over Earth as God’s representatives (Genesis 1:28).

  • The "Second Adam":

    • 1 Corinthians 15:45: Jesus, as the “second Adam,” came to reclaim Earth and restore humanity's lost dominion.

    • Through Christ, dominion and authority are now extended to the church, His body (Ephesians 1:20-23).

  • The Church’s Role:

    • Ephesians 1:22-23: The church, as the body of Christ, is "the fullness of him that fills all in all." It fulfills God’s purpose on Earth by establishing His dominion.
