Relationship His Way: PART 1
Is there a Right Way?
God is a GOD of ORDER:
In God creation there is an order. There is a divine ORDER that operates behind what is visible. Man can adhere to it or disregard the divine order. When you follow it, it has a path, a flow, and a rhythm you can enjoyably ride along with.
It doesn’t limit you—you can use all your creativity, power, and freedom while staying within the plan.
His order is like a PLAYBOOK... a quarterback’s guide.
Let the playbook dictate you. God is the creator of the playbook(image below), and we (humans) are the player.
1 Cor 14:40
“But all things should be done decently and in order.”
Relying on God’s Order and Making the Right Decisions?
Trusting the Divine Order
God's divine order governs everything, from the changing seasons to the purpose in our lives. Just as we trust summer will follow spring, we can trust that our existence is intentional and part of His design. Living within this order brings harmony, but breaking away invites disorder in nature, relationships, and ourselves. Trusting His plan fully is key to a life of peace and purpose.
WHY IS MAN MESSED UP OR THE CAUSE OF DISORDER?
Disorder is not just external—it’s internal.
Consider this:
The American Psychiatric Association defines over 450 mental disorders.
· 59.3 million adults (23.1% of Americans) have some kind of disorder.
This reflects a deeper problem.
The solution can’t come from the outside—it must come from within. God is calling us to embrace an inside-out approach.
You can live with your disorder, but to truly walk in harmony, a TWO must have some kind of order to thrive.
ORDER: The Foundation of Creation
God created all things in an orderly fashion:
· The world: day and night, seasons.
· The body: intricate systems working in harmony.
The order stands on two pillars in a relationship:
1. PURPOSE
2. TIME
When one is missing or corrupted, the consequences are inevitable.
BREAKDOWN OF ORDER
PURPOSE: What is the relationship for?
TIME: Is this the right time?
Jumping into a relationship without considering these pillars is like: Finding a prescribed medication in a drawer and taking it without knowing its purpose or the proper timing.
Imagine the risks of using something randomly just because it might help. It’s far better to:
1. Know what it is for (to know her, to know him).
2. Know your own diagnosis first:
2 Cor 13:5
“Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves.”
RELATIONSHIP AS A TOOL FOR GOD’S PURPOSE
· She is here to help you get to where He wants you.
· He gives you what you need, not necessarily what you want.
If you want to get what you want, deal with what you need first—it’s much quicker.
